GDPR quick check for your website
Enter your address and see in seconds whether Google Fonts, trackers or videos load before consent — with a score and clear next steps.
Check website
Home page with or without https:// — we read the delivered HTML and stylesheets.
What does the GDPR quick check test?
The tool looks for the most common technical privacy mistakes that trigger warning letters and fines — directly in the source code of your home page.
Google Fonts
Are fonts loaded from Google servers? Then every visitor’s IP address is sent to Google.
Tracking before consent
Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Clarity, LinkedIn, TikTok and Microsoft Ads — blocked or not?
Cookie banner & Consent Mode
Detects Borlabs, Cookiebot, Usercentrics, Complianz, Real Cookie Banner, OneTrust and more, plus the Consent Mode default.
Cookies without consent
Does the server set tracking cookies such as _ga or _fbp in its very first response?
YouTube, Maps & co.
Embedded videos and maps that transfer data immediately without a two-click solution.
Imprint & privacy policy
Are both mandatory pages linked from the home page?

Why it matters
Warning letters are expensive
Since the Munich Regional Court’s Google Fonts ruling (2022), law firms have sent warning letters in bulk. A quick test shows whether your site may be affected.
Tracking needs consent
In the EU, analytics and marketing tools may generally only load after consent. Many websites still load them right away — often unnoticed through plugins.
Clean privacy builds trust
A correctly configured banner with Consent Mode protects you legally and delivers better data for Google Ads and Analytics.
Frequently asked questions
Is the GDPR quick check legal advice?
No. The tool shows technical signals from the source code of your home page. Whether consent is legally required depends on the individual case and belongs with a lawyer or data protection officer.
Why doesn’t the tool find something I see in my browser?
The check reads the HTML as the server delivers it, without running JavaScript. Services loaded later by scripts are not detected. A complete review needs a browser test with an empty cache.
Are Google Fonts really a problem?
If fonts are loaded directly from Google servers, visitors’ IP addresses are sent to Google. The Munich Regional Court ruled this a privacy violation in 2022. Locally hosted fonts are fine.
Is Consent Mode enough to load Google tags before consent?
With Consent Mode defaulting to “denied”, Google only sends cookieless pings. Whether that is allowed without consent is disputed, so we show it as a note rather than an error.
Do you store my data?
No. The address you check and the result are not stored. To limit requests we only keep a pseudonymised counter that expires after ten minutes.
Found privacy gaps?
We set up tracking, cookie banner and Consent Mode properly — so your website is on safer legal ground and your data still adds up.
